We hope to continue to help you expand your hands on knowledge. Previous students please note that each class is completely different! You will learn an entirely new set of skills and methods for taxidermy. Once your ticket is purchased our instructor preps your hides and your supplies are ordered just for you. Class price and ticketing are per person, no sharing is allowed.

Class is from 10AM - 4PM with multiple breaks.

In this particular class the full body mount techniques can be carried over to a wide variety of small mammals. Return students will learn a whole new set of mounting skills. Choose to make antlers or not - they could even be baby jackalopes! Habitat build outs will be an option with fun foliage and elements from nature. Fun patterns can be achieved in this class on our mounts too. Get ready for a start to finish full body rabbit mount in our 2023 taxidermy class! We will experiment with powdered pigments on white fur, students could have a pink or green rabbit! The full spectrum of powdered pigment colors will be available to get creative with. Full Mount Rabbit Taxidermy Class Price: $235 (includes expo entry) Class Time: 10AM - 4PM No sharing, each person in class must have a ticket. *CAUTION: The specimens in this year’s museum may not be appropriate for younger patrons or those with weak stomachs. Be mesmerized by the old-school Freak Show… and experience the terror of a mad clown’s cryptic collection. Encounter terrifying beasts, like a Real Mermaid, a Six-Foot Man-Eating Chicken, and genetically engineered monsters. Behold a collection of taxidermied pets, the remains of carnival animals (and patrons), and the remnants of a happy place now turned gray. Bear witness to bizarre pieces of agony, magical powers, folklore, and preserved death. His was a life of horror that gladly welcomed death… May peace come to this mad clown. He burned in his own personal hell, a prisoner of his own making. He was sentenced to a life of solitude, alone with only his hoard of cryptic creations. It seems that because of his unsavory interests, the clown was ostracized by the very carnival he loved.

You discover the cast away remains of a clown and his unique collection. Your eyes slowly begin to adjust, and you cautiously look around. Inside, is dimly lit by lanterns and candles. Skepticism takes a back seat to curiosity, and you take a step inside. The ratty old entrance flap hangs, torn in the ghostly breeze. Weathered wood boxes cling to the perimeter of the tent. As you leave the lights and enter the shadows, you encounter the remnants of a sideshow tent from years gone by. You wander to the quiet outskirts, looking for a place to be alone.

We take tremendous pride in this and hope to gain your support along the way. We are a one of a kind event and the first to do what we specialize in. We are the first and original traveling event exclusively showcasing oddities vendors and dark artists in the country. We find so much joy in being able to provide a place where you can feel at home surrounded by others that share the same interests. We pride ourselves in being a completely 'DIY' ran show from start to finish. The O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more.
